Abeiku Aggrey Santana, popularly known as Abeiku Santana, is a Ghanaian media personality, journalist, broadcaster, and tourism ambassador. He was born on February 16, 1974, in the Central Region of Ghana.

Santana began his media career in the early 1990s, working as a radio presenter at Radio Eku in the Eastern Region of Ghana. He later joined Radio Mercury (now Hot FM) in Accra, where he worked as a sports presenter and hosted a show called “Sports Panorama.”

In 2003, Santana joined Okay FM, a subsidiary of the Despite Media Group, where he currently works as a radio host and presenter. He is the host of several popular radio shows, including “Ekwanso Dwodwo,” “Drive Time,” and “Best Entertainment Show.”

Apart from his work as a broadcaster, Santana is also an accomplished tourism ambassador. He has been appointed as a tourism ambassador by the Ghana Tourism Authority, and he has been involved in several campaigns to promote tourism in Ghana. He has also served as a judge on the Miss Universe Ghana pageant.

Santana has won several awards for his work in the media industry, including the Radio and Television Personality of the Year award at the Ghana Media Awards in 2016 and 2017. He is also a member of the Ghana Journalists Association.

In addition to his media and tourism work, Santana is also involved in philanthropic activities. He has established a foundation called the Abeiku Santana Foundation, which focuses on providing education, healthcare, and other forms of support to underprivileged communities in Ghana.

Abeiku Santana’s transformational and visionary leadership dates back to 1997 when he worked at Radio Z in Koforidua, now Eastern Fm as Assistant Programs Manager.

He also worked at Radio Mercury in 1999 – 2001 as Deputy Programs Manager.

In the year 2001 to 2002 Abeiku Santana became the hottest Radio Drivetime host in the Ashanti Region of Ghana with the highest audience and advertisers on his Radio show at Ash 101.1fm in Kumasi.

Abeiku Santana joined the Multimedia Broadcasting group in the year 2002 to 2010 as Head of Music programs and Events Promotion Coordinator until he joined Despite Media Group as host of the Drivetime Radio Show on Okay FM Entertainment Presenter on UTV.

He has contributed over 23 years of his professional life to Radio and Television Broadcasting, Events, Public Relations and Advertising, Marketing Communications, Tourism Management and Hospitality.

He was inducted into the Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana (CIMG) in 2008.

Santana is a member of the Association of International Travel and Tourism Professionals, Skal.

The former Tourism Ambassador for Ghana is also a Pan Africanist who promotes Africa integration through Travel and Tourism Trade.
