According to Bill Asamoah, at the time, he was working as a media personality, he closed from work one day, and he saw a group of people gathered just a few meters away from where his workplace was situated. He decided to go and see what was happening, and when he got there, the people were shooting a movie.
He states that he saw one of his friends Asare Badiako, a movie producer, over there, and he decided to take one of the movie scripts from him and started reading it. With his delivery, everyone liked him and suggested he join the team.
Bill agreed to join and began his acting career with the drama club named “Ogyatanan.” He starred in a few series with the club and later landed his first movie role in a movie titled “Asem,” a movie produced by Miracle Films Productions.
