Don Jazzy, whose real name is Michael Collins Ajereh, is a Nigerian music producer, singer, and entrepreneur. He was born on November 26, 1982, in Umuahia, Abia State, Nigeria.
Don Jazzy is widely recognized as one of the most influential and successful music producers in Africa. He gained prominence in the early 2000s as a co-founder and CEO of the renowned Nigerian record label, Mo’ Hits Records, which was later rebranded as Mavin Records.
With Mo’ Hits Records, Don Jazzy produced numerous hit songs for popular Nigerian artists such as D’banj, Wande Coal, and Dr SID. The label was instrumental in shaping the sound of Nigerian contemporary music and played a significant role in the Afrobeat movement.

On 7 May 2012, Jazzy announced a new record label, Mavin Records. He said I see Mavin Records being the powerhouse of Music in Africa in the shortest possible time. The label has signed talented artists such as Dr.SID, D’Prince, Korede Bello, Reekado Banks, Di’ja, Poe, Jonny Drille, and the DNA twins.
