The coroner has identified the guy who was slain in a stabbing that occurred in the Russell area early on Friday.
A little more than 12 hours after being attacked, Nathaniel Webster, 47, passed away from multiple stab wounds at 11:12 p.m.
Tyrone Eugene, 36, was detained by the Louisville Metro Police Department on Friday evening.

Around 10:30 that morning, according to the police, reports of a stabbing in the 2600 block of West Market Street started to come in.
Webster was stabbed on the 100 block of 26th Street, according to the coroner’s findings. Where the incident was reported by the police, that intersections with West Market Street.
When the police arrived, they discovered Webster bleeding from stab wounds. Before passing away, he was sent to UofL Hospital in a severe condition.
Eugene is accused with murder on one count.
