After nearly 57 years of marriage, the former president Agyekum Kufour and his wife Theresa Mensah continue to serve as an example for those who view their union as ideal.
The two had been together since their 1962 white wedding, which was not without its share of tensions, misunderstandings, and typical lovey-dovey couple disputes.
A picture of a young, attractive Kufour holding his sweet, newlywed wife in his arms has appeared online, reigniting discussions about the two of them being a role model pair for young people to imitate.
Since getting married in 1962, former President Agyekum Kufour and former First Lady Theresa Kufour have had five kids together.
Since their wedding photo was posted in a Facebook group, many Ghanaians have showered the former president and first lady with heartfelt compliments.
Theresa Kufour appeared in yet another old photo posted online.
